At our 2005 five year planning days, our congregation made the decision to provide emergency care for neglected or abused children who are removed suddenly from their homes.

    Leaving a 45 year ministry in education, I became a full time licensed foster parent.  Our safe home gives Social Services time to find a more permanent foster home.  Our residence of safety is named Nano’s House, in honor of our foundress, Nano Nagle. Four children, ages birth to 18, may stay up to a month.
