I am the director of the infirmary at
Sacred Heart Convent, Fargo, North Dakota. I oversee the nursing needs of the retired and sick sisters who live in Mary Community and any other sisters who wish to have assistance with their care.
My responsibilities include supervision of the infirmary staff, making sure the sisters receive good health care, seeing to proper medications, taking sisters to medical and dental appointments and overseeing diets where necessary. We provide 24 hour nursing care in our infirmary, and maintaining staff around the clock is a major duty.
