As of Presentation Day, 2002, I am 55
years here. I entered in 1947 along with eight other Irish girls fresh from our native Ireland. Many, many changes have taken place in religious Life since then, but the focus remains the same - serving God, church and People.
During these years my ministries have changed from time to time but always “Doing What Needs to be Done.” After some forty years in education I am enjoying another change of pace. Being sacristan here at the convent is one of the most rewarding ministries. Is is a great privilege and honor preparing for services for the Community. It is an awesome position to have and a joy to me! Two other phases to my ministry are hospitality person - extending Presentation hospitality to all guests regardless of denomination and the research and purchasing of the entire fleet of convent cars. I find myself witnessing to others and being a public relations person in that capacity.
