A charism is a gift given to a person for the service of others.  The charism of Nano Nagle is not the exclusive property of vowed religious.  Many people of many faith traditions share a desire and an affinity for service, prayerfulness, hospitality, zeal for justice, simplicity of life, and competence in their work.  If these characteristics speak to your heart and you are searching for a path to deepen your spiritual life, God may be calling you to be a Presentation Associate. A few months after the Presentation Sisters established a convent and school in Fargo, they formed a civil corporation which had four purposes 1) education, 2) nursing and caring for sick persons, 3) collection and disbursing of voluntary contributions for charitable purposes, and 4) the maintaining of a home for members of the Presentation Order.
