God created each of us with a special dream or purpose for our lives. Are you one who has been gifted with the charism of Nano Nagle and called to live an apostolic religious life?
• Do you practice the Catholic faith?
• Do you have a desire to pray?
• Are you willing to give generously of your time and talent?
• Do you have a generally wholesome attitude toward life and a sense of humor?
If your mind and heart say “yes” to these questions God may be calling you to live your life as a Presentation Sister.
Religious LifeWhat is Vocation?Frederick Buechner, a theologian, defines vocation as “the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep need meet.”
What is your deepest gladness?
How do you feel called to address the world’s deepest need?
We invite you [MAKE INVITE YOU A LINK TO RELIGIOUS LIFE PAGE2] to join us as we fashion the Presentation mission in the 21st century.

Presentation communities in North America (Dubuque, IA; Aberdeen, SD; San Francisco, CA; New Windsor, NY; Fargo, ND; and the U.S. Province of the International Union) have offered the Collaborative Vocation Service Experience. (Insert picture of the group that went from Fargo). This experience provides women who may be called to religious life, particularly Presentation religious life, the opportunity to share in service to others, community prayer, reflection, and learning more about the foundress of the Presentation Sisters, Nano Nagle.

These women, as well as the vocation directors meet together in New Orleans, “doing what needs to be done” in helping families continuing to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.

Participants also have the opportunity to serve alongside Presentation Sisters involved at Lantern Light, Inc., a collaborative ministry at the Rebuild Center, a much needed center providing many basic needs to people who are homeless in New Orleans, including food, showers, laundry, phone services, medical care, identifications and an address.

The dates for the next Collaborative Vocation Service Experience in New Orleans are March 14-20, 2010. For more information please call Sr. Shawna Foley at 701-552-1083 or e-mail
